Hi people!
I felt an update was in order, and it will likely ressemble the lives of many of us over the last two months.
Since my hip injury, I had to take a break from working out for December. Naturally, since then, I have put on a solid 5-7 lbs, but I try not to waste my breath complaining because I am doing something about it.
I received a 10-session pass to a gym for January as a gift, to help me fill in the weeks in between volleyball sessions with some other activity. So I've been going 2-3 times a week for the last few weeks. I was waiting to see if I'd be playing soccer this season, and I am not. Now, I am playing court volleyball on MON-WED, and have Portuguese on TUES. On Thursdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays I can go to the gym or to a local fitness studio for some amazing body sculpting classes (I got a deal for 6 sessions at that place, online, so I'm going to do that in February).
After that, I'll see how I feel about actually becoming a gym member. I keep putting it off :)
I finally feel I have the energy to face selling my loft with my ex. It's been 2.5 years since we broke up, and as much time for me to recover all the energy drained from that time in my life. I really want to wrap things up as far as that situation goes, so I can give my full and undivided attention to all the great people in my life.
January was strange, with many health problems in the family. Surprisingly, it is all slowly piecing itself back together and my sick aunts are recovering faster than expected.
Alright, I have to run. I wish I could write more, but at the pace I'm going, something had to take a backseat, and for now I've made it the blog. I will get back to it a little more frequently if things slow down.
